1 clear plate (I recommend ceramic)
1 bowl
1/2 cup of milk
1 q-tip
Dish Soap
Food colouring
Pour the 1/2 cup of milk onto the plate
Add 3-5 drops of each colour you want
Pour a tablespoon of dish soap into a bowl
Dip the q-tip in the dish soap
Press the q-tip down in the coloured milk
Enjoy!
Milk is made up of water, minerals, fat and proteins. The soap and fat join together when combined and the proteins and minerals try to seperate causing the reaction we see. The colours make it easier to see what is happening, and more fun to watch.
