Slime

Ingredients

• 2 mixing bowls

• 1/2 cup of Elmer's glue

• 1 cup of warm water

• 1/4 tsp of Borax

• 3-4 drops of food colouring (optional)

• Glitter (optional)

*Makes enough for about 2 students

Instructions

1. Add 1/2 cup of warm water to bowl 1

2. Add 1/4 tsp of Borax to bowl 1 and stir until dissolved 

3. Add 1/2 cup of glue to bowl 2

4. Add 1/2 cup of warm water to bowl 2 and stir until mixed with glue

5. Add 3-4 drops of food colouring to bowl 2 and stir (optional)

6. Add bowl 1 to bowl 2 and mix well

7. Add glitter to slime and mix well (optional)

8. Enjoy!

What's Happening?

The Borax acts as the slime activator, when it is combined with the glue they mix together to form a new substance, slime.
