Welcome to my about Ms. Corrin page! I was born and raised on Vancouver Island. I love to spend my time reading, baking and getting out in nature as much as I can. I spent most of my time as a child and teenager involved in the wonderful world of theater. I acted in many plays and musicals throughout my life with my high school's performing arts academy, as well as in my community with groups such as Arts Alive and Red Room Studios. I still enjoy being involved in the theater in any way I can as an adult.
I graduated from Dover Bay Secondary in 2013. I have a BA degree in Psychology and Studies of Women and Gender from Vancouver Island University. I have also received my certification in Studies of Addiction from VIU. I returned to VIU for my Post-Baccalaureate in Primary Education in 2019, to be an elementary school teacher.
I have been fortunate enough to be working with kids in my community since 2018 as a sports leader, an after-school care provider, a camp leader and now a student teacher. I love to spend as much time as I can with the kids and am grateful everyday for the amazing profession I am in. I love science and learning about the world around me, so I created this page to help students find their passion for science.
